The main house at 3202 Washington Road in Augusta, Georgia, is a five-bay, two-story frame house with verandas on both facades. At the time of sampling the building was in the process of being moved to a new location several blocks away.

Dendrochronological analysis has shown that the building was constructed from timbers felled in the winter of 1828/9, the summer of 1829, and the winter of 1831/2, suggesting that the building was constructed at this latter date or shortly thereafter.
