Medford House is a three-bay, one-and-a-half-story frame house with an exterior brick end chimney located in Preston, Maryland. At the time of sampling the building was in the process of being restored by the Caroline County Historical Society.
Dendrochronological analysis has shown that the building was constructed from timbers felled over a span of time ranging from the spring of 1797 to the spring of 1800, suggesting that the house was constructed at this latter date or shortly thereafter.
